Shower with Love

Aim

The role that a hot shower plays at the end of a long day or a long week is both mental, physical and emotional and for many women arriving at crisis accommodation, they may not have had a warm, cleansing and safe shower for a long time. This is an important and impactful step towards a new life-chapter.

Through the generosity of local partners, we are currently compiling 200 individual packs compromised of:

• Evo shampoo and conditioner – Thanks to Haircare Australia
• Towels – Thanks to Tony Colyer Pty Ltd
• Body Butter – Thanks to Maine Beach

We are still hoping to find supplies of the following items and welcome your contact if you can help us:

• Body soap or shower gel
• Face moisturiser
• Tissues
• Deodorant
• Combs or brushes

Outcome

With the support of so many groups and businesses, we’ve compiled an impressive 200 'Shower with Love' packs — each pack containing a towel, a shampoo and conditioner, face and body moisturiser, deodorant, tissues, face wipes, and hand cream.

Before Christmas last year we donated 60 of these packs to AnglicareSA’s Turning Point Program.

We donated the balance to the Vinnies Women's Crisis Centre.
